Background
Dumplings is a traditional Chinese food with a history of more than 1,800 years. It is a traditional specialty food loved by the Chinese people. Eating dumplings is also a Chinese tradition during the Spring Festival. People in the distance will travel back home and eat dumplings with their families for the winter festival to show that they have a happy family.
Schedule
Meet your guide at your hotel: (9:00am or 2:00pm) .
Local Spice Market Visit(about 1 hour): Your guide will take you into an appealing local market to explore it and you’ll find or obtain some necessary ingredients or spices that will be used in the cooking class afterwards.
The Cooking Process(about 2 hours): After finishing the spice market, you’ll ramble through back streets to the cooking class place, a hidden gem-a traditional Sichuan style courtyard. When you arrive there, you can have a break with Sichuan Gaiwan tea. After that, you’ll start the cooking process which will be guided by a professional chef. The chef will teach you how to make dough and make dumplings step by step. Finally, you’ll then use a Chinese steamer to cook it or fry it.
The Dinner Time(about 1 hour):You’ll enjoy the Bao Zi that cooked by yourself with some beverages.

Accompanying tickets: If you have kids, you can choose the tickets. Everything is included except operating the cooking process.
Vegetarian-friendly tickets: You can choose to learn vegetarian food only.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Ours operate rain or shine. In periods of extreme or unsafe weather, we will cancel the tour at our discretion and provide a refund.
Join-in Tour Bookings: Bookings cancelled within 12 hours notice will not be refunded. If you would like to reschedule your join-in tour with less than 24 hours notice, we will need to charge 30% of your total for ingredients we prepared for you.
